WHY THIS SET-UP ON THESE SNAPPER RIGS?

These are awesome; you will never go back to the old conventional type rigs after being spoilt with these, I LOVE 'EM. They hold your bait; squid, trevally, salmon, couta strips in place, remember, “presentation is everything” & the way you present your bait to the fish, well, “it's the difference with separating the men from the boys” !!!

This is the average set-up for a Gummy Shark or Snapper Rig;

1 x BLACK BALL BEARING SWIVEL with two WELDED RINGS
#3 & Rated to “145Lbs”

2 x “Chemically Sharpened” OCTOPUS HOOKS.
(PPT) Size 4/0 on the sliding Snell & 6/0 at the silly Snell

0.800 Metre of “Premium Saltwater Leader Line" 60Lbs LEADER
(0.60mm Diameter)

All held together by the old faithful “UNI KNOT” at the swivel, "Sliding SNELL" with attractant PVC tube on 4/0, and “Silly SNELL" at the bottom 6/0

WHY USE DARK TERMINAL TACKLE ON RIGS?

I know how important the colour of your terminal tackle is, you definitely don't want to have something shiny in chrome or silver because of the sunlight reflection, the swivels used in all my rigs are BLACK CHROME so there's no reflection in the water, attracting the fish to your bait, not your swivel !!!

WHY BALL BEARING SWIVELS?

It's Ok to buy the best boat, the quality rods & reels, the supreme braid or mono line, spankin chemically sharpened hooks, BUT then skimp on the EL-CHEAPO supermarket swivels!!! Doesn't make much sense, does it?

I believe in great products & value for money. These are the best ball bearing swivels I could find. Two WELDED rings either end to ensure strength.

They are Saltwater & Freshwater compatible protected by nickel, than black chrome plating to remove the reflection.
